Course Description

This course will serve as an introduction to the travel and tourism industry.  Students will explore various segments of the travel and tourism industry to include transportation services, lodging operations, tourism activities and organizations, and careers within the industry.  In addition, integrated marketing activities will be incorporated into each segment. Additional classroom activities will include field trips, the use of technology, and guest speakers.
